Drawing BTP Solution Diagrams

It was always a bit pain to deal with mockups and diagrams in SAP area to deliver authentic designs for customers as technical consultant. External utilities like Axure RP, own SAP tool the quickly died Splash etc. Big history of external tooling was utilized in the past. Today the main tool to deliver mockups is the Fiori Design Stencil library for Figma. Good news for drawing BTP Solution Diagrams are the libraries which are now included in draw.io. You can also use PowerPoint with manual installation or LucidChart as well. In this post we look at the setup of draw.io and BTP Solution Diagrams.

Installation

We kick off with draw.io on windows desktop, but the tool is available on linux, mac and even online.

Download the exe installer and launch draw.io. Click on More Shapes.
